It is a large, established suburb — the seventh-biggest city in Oklahoma — but it does not have a historic wedding district, a hotel ballroom circuit or a country-club scene. What Moore does have is everything else: a dense, settled, family-heavy population that throws a great many parties. Fair questions.
Have you played a venue in Moore?
Not on the published venues-played list. Several Oklahoma City venues twenty minutes north are on it, and Thunderbird Chapel in Norman is fifteen minutes south. An unfamiliar room gets a site walk or a detailed call with whoever runs it beforehand.
Can you do an event in a school gym?
Yes, and it needs proper handling. A gym reflects sound off every surface, so speakers get aimed rather than just aimed loud, and levels get set for a room with people in it. School events also run on an approved-music basis agreed in advance.
What about a church hall with a noise limit?
Common, and workable. The limit gets confirmed with the venue beforehand and the rig is configured for it — a smaller, better-placed setup at a controlled level carries a floor far better than a large one running quiet.
Can you DJ a back-garden party?
Yes. Outdoor events need power confirmed, a covered position for the gear and a wet-weather fallback agreed in advance. Neighbours and any local noise curfew are worth raising early too.
