Home / DJ in Edmond, OK
Edmond expects the production to match the venue.
Edmond is Oklahoma's fifth-largest city and the upscale end of the OKC wedding market — country clubs, estate properties and a historic downtown. DJ Sayeth brings full-production lighting, live open-format mixing and MC services from Tulsa, about an hour and forty-five minutes up the turnpike.
No Edmond venue on the played list.
Being direct about it: none of the thirty-four venues on DJ Sayeth's played list are inside Edmond. Six are in Oklahoma City, about twenty minutes south, and one is in Guthrie, about twenty minutes north — so the corridor is well travelled even where the specific room is not.
What actually transfers between rooms is the part that matters: the rig, the mixing, the MC work and the preparation. What does not transfer is knowing a specific building, which is why an unfamiliar venue gets a site walk, a power check and a load-in plan rather than an assumption.
- Timber Valley Ranch · Guthrie
- Fordson Hotel · Oklahoma City
- Gaillardia Country Club · Oklahoma City
- Meinders Hall of Mirrors · Oklahoma City
- Oklahoma Hall of Fame · Oklahoma City
- The Venue at Forest Lake · Oklahoma City
All six are within about half an hour of Edmond — Gaillardia in particular is the same country-club format Edmond couples book.
A city that grew on purpose.
Edmond was created overnight in the Land Run of April 1889 and named for a railway freight agent because the site was the highest point on the line in Oklahoma County. It got the first public schoolhouse in Oklahoma Territory, and the University of Central Oklahoma's Old North building opened in 1893 — before OU's or OSU's first buildings.
Today it is the affluent north end of the metro: country clubs, estate venues, a walkable historic downtown lined with public sculpture, and LibertyFest, a ten-day Fourth of July festival that is one of the biggest civic events in the state. The weddings match the setting — larger guest counts and more full-production lighting than the metro average.
When the room is the point.
The top packages exist for exactly this kind of venue:
- Uplighting washing the room in your palette
- 360° LED tube effects around the floor
- All lighting synced to the music, never looping on its own
- Full production build-out for large ballrooms
- Cold spark fountains for entrances and first dances
- Audio scaled up for the room rather than pushed harder
Weddings, companies, milestones.
Country club weddings
Six-hour packages covering ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, with MC services and a written run-of-show. Gaillardia in north OKC is the same format and already on the played list.
Corporate
Awards nights, holiday parties, fundraisers and launches. Professional announcements, an agreed music policy, and a set pitched to the room rather than at it.
Milestones
Significant birthdays, anniversaries, quinceañeras and graduation parties. Three-hour packages from $700 with the same live mixing and lighting options.
Packages, plus a clear travel figure.
Edmond is roughly an hour and forty-five minutes from Tulsa — the shortest drive time of any OKC-metro town. There may still be an additional travel fee, worked out with your quote rather than settled later.

What Edmond clients ask.
Have you worked venues in Edmond?
Not on the published venues-played list. Six Oklahoma City venues about twenty minutes south are on it — including Gaillardia Country Club, which is the same country-club format most Edmond couples are choosing between — and Timber Valley Ranch in Guthrie is twenty minutes north.
Does an unfamiliar venue change anything?
It changes the preparation, not the service. An unfamiliar room gets a site walk or a detailed call with the venue beforehand covering power, load-in, the floor plan and curfew. That is standard for any room not already on the list.
How long is the drive from Tulsa?
About an hour and forty-five minutes — the shortest drive time of anywhere in the OKC metro, since it is almost entirely turnpike and interstate.
Can you do full production for a large ballroom?
Yes. The $2,000 wedding package and the $1,200+ event package add 360° LED tube effects and a full production build-out sized for larger rooms, on top of dance-floor lighting and uplighting.
Do you handle corporate awards nights?
Yes, and MC services are included rather than extra. Awards nights live or die on whether announcements land cleanly and the programme keeps moving, which is planned with you in advance.
What does an Edmond wedding cost?
Six-hour wedding packages are $1,500, $1,800 (most booked) and $2,000, plus a clearly quoted travel figure. Full pricing →
